What snagging is
A snagging inspection finds defects in a new home before the buyer fully settles in - scuffed paint, missing silicone, a door that binds, a tap that drips. The inspector walks every room, records each issue against the drawings, and hands the builder a report they can work from.
Who it is for
Independent inspectors and small snagging firms. If you currently juggle a camera roll, a notebook, and a Word template after the visit, this is meant to replace that pile - on site, on a phone.
Why not paper and photos
Paper loses the location. A photo folder loses the context. Snaglad keeps each defect on the floor plan, with photographs attached to that snag, a stable reference such as S001, and a PDF that still makes sense a week later.
On-site first
The product is used while walking an unfinished house. The loop we protect is: open the plan, tap the defect, take the photo, add a short description, save. Everything else - rooms, categories, severity, reports - supports that loop rather than getting in its way.
